What do I need to bring for my sleep study?
Bring something comfortable to sleep in (T shirt and shorts). Any medication that you usually take. You may bring snacks and drinks as well as your own pillow and linens if you wish. You should bring your toiletries and anything that you feel will make it more comfortable for you to sleep.
How can I schedule a sleep study?
Insurance requires that we get a referral from your doctor for a sleep study. You can ask your doctor to send us a referral with your demographics (insurance information and patient information) along with your recent clinic notes from your doctors office. Those can be faxed to us at 901-432-6230 . It may take up to 2 weeks to get the approval from your insurance company and we will then contact you to schedule an appointment.
When will I get my CPAP machine?
Following your sleep study depending on your insurance, a referral will be sent to a DME (durable medical equipment company). They will contact you to set up a time to get your machine. Some insurance companies will require your referring physician to order the equipment for you. Instructions will be emailed to you with your report.
I have questions about my CPAP machine and supplies?
Any questions regarding you CPAP machine or supplies should be addressed by your DME company. Please contact them first.

How much does a sleep study cost?
The out of pocket cost for a sleep study is determined by your insurance company. Most insurance companies require a precertification and/or authorization. This typically can take a couple of weeks.
I have had a sleep study, how do I get my results?
Your results will be available within 2 weeks of your appointment. They will be sent to your referring physician. If you provided an email when you set up your appointment, then copies will also be emailed to you with your permission.
